Troy Bruins Youth Hockey Boosters, an Ohio Non-profit Corporation (referred to as TBYHB or Bruins Boosters).
The mission of the TBYHB is to promote participation and interest in youth ice hockey.
Any parent or legal guardian whose child is registered with a TBYHB team, and any coach or manager, 18 years of age or older as of December 31st of the current playing season, who is listed on the USA Hockey Team Roster and who shall have completed his/her financial obligations to TJHBA and the City of Troy shall be eligible for active membership upon payment of the prescribed membership fee, provided his/her membership has not been terminated pursuant to provisions in Article III Section 3. Each member is entitled to one vote in annual elections. Membership is not transferable or assignable. All members shall receive a copy of the By-Laws upon request.
The Board of Directors shall hold meetings on a regular basis and/or upon the written request of any four (4) directors. The written request must be submitted to the Secretary for dissemination to the other Directors. Meetings shall be run using Robert’s Rules of Order as general procedure. Meetings will take place on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30pm. The location will normally occur at Hobart Arena unless notified by the president of a venue/date/time change. Meetings can be canceled by the President as long as two weeks notice is given.
